Spring Feelings: Classic Trends

Slowly but surely, New York is warming up. I’m torn. On one hand, like every other New Yorker, I’m sick of the cold. We had the most intense winter this year and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen enough slushy, black snow to last me a lifetime. But on the other hand, New York gets HOT and it gets hot fast. I’m not really looking forward to the sweaty, garbage filled air that summer in New York City brings.

Anyway, rant over because what I am looking forward to is Spring and all of the lovely trends that come along with it. I’m weary of calling these trends because honestly, these pieces are classics! A classic trench, rose gold jewelry, pastels and florals? This is Forever Fashion guys!  It might not be your style, but it’s hard to argue that these pieces aren’t just modern incarnations of classics that have been around for decades.

Spring Favorites

10 Crosby Derek Lam Belted Trench Coat // The leather belted trench has been everywhere but for good reason, it’s beautiful! I love this fresh take with the dropped sleeves.

The Friendship Pin Bracelet by Skyler Man // Rose gold is quickly becoming the go to color for spring jewelry and I’m on board, I’ve been wearing it year around forever. Always in love with this pinned safety pin bracelet.

Leonar Crystal Printed Platform by Ted Baker // I’ve only recently realized the brilliance that is Ted Baker. His florals are on point, they’re a little sweet and a little dark. These botanical pumps are amazing.

Medium Candy Pouchette by Furla // I’ve been extremely impressed by Furla’s candy collection this season and the pouchette is no exception, it does the pastel trend beautifully while still looking grown up.
