Mermaid Fishtails

When I look at these photos from the Russh Magazine, I get a little jealous. After a brazilian blowout and keratin treatment, my hair basically does one thing, and that thing is fall flat and straight. I could probably replicate the look above, even with my straight hair, but I suck at doing anything to my hair other than washing it, brushing it, and leaving the house. Time for youtube tutorials?

Yeah, probably not. Love complicated hair, but I’m just not the type to put so much effort into my hair. I’ll just keep staring at these photos and longing for a professional stylist to fall me around and make my hair into pretty works of art.

Ooo hairspiration. I want to get the keratin treatment done for my honeymoon so i can jump out of the water and have it dry fabulously but i was concerned my hair couldn't be styled for my wedding...glad i read this Bright Green Laces Reply

  It really depends on your hair type to begin with, mine is wavy and semi thick, but really more puffy than wavy, and I also got the keratin 4 months after a brazilian blowout, so now it's pretty straight/flat. However, I think it you have thicker hair or curlier hair, it probably won't come out as straight/flat as mine and could be styled. Reply

  LOL! I don't get too glammed up on a regular basis either. Seriously, I wake up, wash my hair,and leave the house, and it falls and dries flat. No fancy hair for me : ( Reply

I love fish tail braids and complicated hairstyles too but I just don't have the hair for it. I have stick straight fine hair and I hate it - it only doesn't annoy me when it's short and I don't have to think about it. I've always wanted wavy hair because straight hair falls out of everything, maybe I'll do the opposite of you and eventually get a body wave put in haha. If your hair is long enough for it, fish tail braids are actually quite easy to do! You should try it out just for fun on a day when you have extra time to spend on your hair. Reply

  my hair is pretty long, but I really suck at doing it. Maybe I really will watch a tutorial. I actually love short hair because of the ease with it, and you can get an actual style, but I look terrible with shorter hair. I really did the Keratin more to smooth out the crazy frizz in my hair, I actually liked it wavy! Alas, it's just a flat mess now Reply
