Lately, my life has been consumed with looking at home decorating blogs and magazines as well as home decor and furnishing websites. NYC doesn’t really have any affordable home stores, so I’m forced to scour the web for affordable items to add into my, hopefully, new space. Unfortunately, like NYC, the internet is is filled with unaffordable, but beautiful websites, on one of which I came upon Roost. Roost is modern and animal driven, but also has many beautiful, glamourous pieces; think quartz, mother of pearl, amethyst, silver, etc. Of course, while not completely unaffordable, it’s not really inexpensive either, so unless I find stuff on sale, I won’t be buying very much Roost for my new apartment.
