My Favorite Drink? The One in My Hand

I’m quickly approaching the one year anniversary of moving into my current apartment. The initial excitement has worn off, as has the impulse to buy everything in sight and overfill my tiny flat with cute plates and candles and statutes and candelabras. However, I feel like I need to celebrate living in my first apartment for a year, and the best kinds of celebrations include parties and presents. So, as I contemplate inviting a few friends over for a little party, I’m going to give my apartment a present, a beautiful new decanter.

On Etsy:

These decanters are great because they’re not too pricey, vintage and one-of-a-kind. I’m basically in love with the second one.

Crate and Barrel:

This set is only $20 on crate and barrel outlet, which is a pretty sweet deal.

Strange Carafes:

These Decanters are insanely unaffordable (2500 euros?) but so, so beautiful.

I’m definitely leaning towards the second decanter on etsy, if it doesn’t get sold out by the time I decide to actually purchase it. Otherwise, the crate and barrel deal is pretty sweet and hard to pass up at only $20.  But really, who am I kidding, I drink my wine straight out of the bottle.

I am non too fancy for decanters. I have to admit sometimes I go straight for the bottle, in casual situations. Lambec Frambrois is my favorite. Reply
