   i'm never down with j campbell. to me, that's like being down with a chinatown louis vuitton. he always knocks shit off, and the only reason the brand looks decent is because he usually knocks off nice stuff. the reasons the brands he knocks off are nice are because they are expensive due to their quality, craftsmanship, originality and fine details, all of which campbell lacks.    I completely get where you're coming from, and I like Jeffrey Campbell as well (as stated in my blog post), but that's exactly my problem with these. Camilla Skovgaard is known for the bottoms of her shoes, its not like he did something similar and I'm nitpicking, he blatantly ripped her off. If a designer is a good designer, they don't NEED to rip people off, they can come up with their own, cute designs. A lot of his designs are very, very similar to many more high end shoe designers, but that's where it ends, they are similar and that's where I can commend him, for making affordable shoes that can compete with some very expensive designers. But this is too much for me, if I was Camilla Skovgaard I'd be pissed. Reply

   lol i resent the jeffrey campbell criticism. he makes affordable shoes that look like they aren't. i think from a layman's perspective, it's more important to me to buy affordable cool-looking footwear than worry about whether or not it looks like a different shoe. i mean he's not payless. i see where you're coming from, but i am a big fan of his. Reply
