That’s Marina, and apparently we are the diamonds. She’s a welsh solo artist with an unmistakable voice set to pop-ish/new wavey music. Her videos are super creative and her style is adorable. If you haven’t heard her, check out “Seventeen” and “Hollywood.”
my musical tastes are all over the place, and I’m really not into much pop, unless it’s electro or new wavey and she’s a bit of that, plus her voice is kind of low and husky, i love it.
I just posted her acoustic hollywood version on my blog, or at least it says as much. I haven’t heard too much of her–it’s on my music to do list–but according to what I listen to it seems I’d really be into her.
