Ode to: Michelle Pfeiffer in Grease 2

I have never been a big fan of the movie Grease. Although I’ve seen the movie at least a dozen times in my younger years (by myself if nothing else was on, with friends, and on other occasions where I had no choice), in recent years I have tried to steer clear. The musical numbers annoy me and for some reason, I absolutely hate John Travolta’s character. Once upon a time, however, when nothing was on t.v., I noticed Grease was on and decided to give it another chance. To my amazement, there was no Danny or Sandy in sight. Instead, the beautiful, British, Maxwell Caulfield graced my screen alongside Michelle Pfeiffer as a completely hot rocker pink lady. I immediately fell in love with the movie, the cultish aspect to it and the completely not annoying musical numbers. I especially love Michelle Pfeiffer as Stephanie Zinone. Her hair is a perfect ashy blonde, her lips are always red, and her outfits are amazing. Black biker jackets, vintagey plaid button downs and a fantastic silver sequined dress.

Although this was filmed in 1982, I would gladly rock any of her outfits today.

Grease2 is so much more enjoyable than Grease1. I totally agree with you - it has a cult vibe and better songs, although it gets awkwardly cheesy toward to end! I am currently trying to figure out how to recreate that perfect hairstyle.... Reply

OMG- if i wasn't afraid to dye my black hair back to blonde i'd attempt her hair again. Mine didn't quite turn out that way the first time. I love the awkward cheese! soo good! : ) Reply
